Trinity College

Trinity College Dublin (TCD) was founded in 1592 when Queen Elizabeth I issued a charter for Trinity College, thereby making it Ireland's oldest operating university. In 1999 it became the first Irish program to receive international accreditation from the International Association of MBAs (AMBA). Its reputation for excellence in teaching and research attracts outstanding professors and students from all over the world. While Trinity has a long and proud tradition in the arts, humanities and social sciences, it is also at the center of cutting edge research in neuroscience and is home to the key national research center for nanoscience. Trinity College is recognized by the Department of Education and Skills, Ireland. ISA participants studying at Trinity have the opportunity to take a wide range of courses with local and international students. Trinity is located on a small, beautiful campus in the heart of Dublin. State-of-the-art libraries, laboratories and IT facilities stand alongside historic buildings. One of Trinity's most famous and historic buildings is Trinity's Old Library. This library is the largest research library in Ireland and is home to the Book of Kells. Trinity College Dublin was ranked 110th globally and 1st in Ireland by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings in 2013, was ranked 28th globally and 1st in Ireland by the Eduniversal Global Top 100 Business Schools, and was ranked 61st globally, 18th in Europe and 1st in Ireland by the QS World University Rankings in 2013. Douglas Hyde, the first President of the Republic of Ireland, and Oscar Wilde, a famous Irish author and poet, are just a few of Trinity's notable alumni.

  • Faculty members from our partner university, Trinity College, will be selected to teach guest lectures on the topic of start-up culture and entrepreneurship in Ireland.
  • Students will meet with local companies and learn about entrepreneurship in Dublin from upper level management 

Students may be given assignments from their home university.
