International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia

With global PRIDE celebrations just around the corner, many people, organizations, and communities are preparing to celebrate the powerful strides made for visibility and equity within the LGBTQIA+ community. Amidst this excitement, this year on May 17, we are invited to take a moment to reflect on the all-too-real reality that many people still face discrimination of varying levels in their communities and abroad.

Homophobia, transphobia, and biphobia can be felt by individuals every day of the year and can affect them long after the fun and celebrations have ended. It is important for us to advocate for inclusion and equity among all people. In our programs, we take an individualistic approach to addressing the needs and concerns of our participants. We are committed to providing a safe experience for our program participants and provide appropriate accommodations to allow for equal participation in our programs.
